Czech Challenge Cup 2013 - Ringette Greetings from Prague!

Czech Challenge Cup, an international ringette tournament in Prague organized by Challenger Hockey Ltd. was played during the weekend.

Teams from Canada, Finland and Slovakia gathered to play some ringette in the heat of central Europe on 26th - 28th July. There were three Swedish girls playing with the Canadians and two Finnish girls as a coach and a player with the Slovaks.

Games started on Friday 26th July and continued on the next day. On Saturday evening all of the teams went on a dinner cruise to the river Vltava and had a good time together. On Sunday it was time to play the rest of the games and also cool down as it was +38C in Prague. In the final game Polar Bears and Helsinki Ringette went into overtime, and Polar Bears won gold medals! Tuusula was third by winning Team Slovakia in the bronze game.
